- “Railroads are the most beautiful form of kinetic art.” This
phrase is an appropriate description of the future of Taiwan’s
century-old railroads. While there are a number of ways
to experience Changhua, traveling Changhua’s railroads
is a convenient, fun and popular way to tour the county.
Changhua’s railroads are diverse, featuring national railways,
sugar railways, and high-speed railways. Changhua’s railway
opened in 1905 (the 38th year of the Japanese Meiji period),
with Changhua Station, Qiebaojiao (Huatan Station), Yuanlin
Station, Shedou Station (Shetou Station), Tianzhongyang
Station (Tianzhong Station), and Erbashui Station (Ershui
Station) built along the line. - According to genre: Historical site
